Frequently asked questions

How do I log a peak flow reading or symptom?

Tap the + button on the Today screen. You can record up to three peak flow blows per session — Symply keeps your best reading and works out your zone automatically.

What is the Doctor Visit Report?

It's a clinical-grade PDF summarising your peak flow trends, GINA zones, symptoms, triggers and rescue-inhaler use. Generate it from More > Export Data and share it with your GP. The PDF report is a Premium feature.

How does the free trial and Premium work?

Symply is free to use for 7 days with full access. After that, Premium features can be unlocked with a yearly plan or a one-time lifetime purchase. The lifetime purchase covers every Premium feature available at the time of purchase; some future features that rely on paid live-data services may be offered as a separate optional add-on. All core symptom and peak flow logging stays free.

How do I restore a purchase?

Open the Premium screen and tap Restore Purchase. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account used for the original purchase.

Where is my data stored?

On your device, and — if you enable iCloud — in your own private iCloud account. Symply has no account to create and never sells or shares your health data.

Why does Symply ask for location?

Location is used only to show your local pollen and air-quality forecast. You can use the app without granting it.

Is Symply a medical device?

No. Symply helps you track and understand your asthma and allergies, but it does not diagnose conditions or provide medical advice. Always follow the guidance of your healthcare provider.
