How can we help?

Dreams Diary keeps everything on your device — so most things are in your hands. Here are the common questions. Anything else, just email us and we'll get back to you.

On your device. If you turn on iCloud Sync, they also sync through your own private iCloud account so they appear on your other devices. We (the developer) never see, collect, or share your dreams or your sleep. No accounts, no ads, no tracking.

Open Settings → Your data → Download your data to export a full backup any time, and Restore to bring it back on a new device. If you use at-rest encryption, keep your recovery code safe — it's the only way to read encrypted dreams on a new device, and we can't recover it for you.

Only with your permission, Dreams Diary reads (never writes) your sleep, and — to show them back to you — your age and, where available, overnight heart rate, HRV and breathing. It's used only on your device to add gentle context to your dreams. Nothing is ever sent off your device. You can turn it off any time in the Apple Health app.

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Purchases can be restored from the paywall's Restore button. Capturing, searching, exporting and syncing your dreams is always free.

Dreams Diary isn't a medical or crisis service, but it can point you to help: open Settings → Support & crisis lines for free, confidential support lines in your region. If you're in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.
