Terms of Use

Last updated: 3 June 2026

These terms apply to your use of the Loafe app ("Loafe", "the app"). By downloading or using Loafe, you agree to them.

1. Licence to use the app

Loafe grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the App Store Terms of Service and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).

2. Purchases and subscriptions

Loafe is free to listen to. Unlocking Loafe Studio, audio/stem/MIDI export, and the no-attribution commercial licence ("Loafe Pro") is available as:

All payments are charged to your Apple ID and handled by Apple. Prices may vary by region and may change; any change will be shown before you buy.

3. You own what you make

All audio you create, export, or generate within Loafe is your original work. You own the full copyright in your exported tracks. Loafe retains no rights in the audio you produce.

Exporting audio (and stems / MIDI) is a Loafe Pro feature (Loafe+ or Lifetime). Your exported audio is royalty-free, worldwide, and in perpetuity — including full commercial use with no attribution required:

You may not: (a) resell or redistribute the exported files on their own as a sample/loop pack; (b) resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Loafe app or its sound engine itself; (c) represent Loafe's synthesis technology as your own product; or (d) use the app for anything unlawful.

4. Distribution is your responsibility

When you distribute your tracks — on streaming services, in games, for sync, or elsewhere — you are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with applicable law in your jurisdiction, including copyright law. The legal status of synthesized and algorithmically generated works varies by country and may change over time; Loafe makes no warranty about copyright protectability in any specific jurisdiction.

Non-unique exports: Tracks exported from the same default preset may be acoustically similar or identical to tracks exported by other Loafe users. We recommend using Studio or Studio Pro Max — or tapping "Another" before exporting in Loom — to ensure your track is unique before distributing it publicly.

Streaming fraud: Artificially inflating stream counts is prohibited by all major streaming platforms and their distributors. Violations may result in the removal of your entire catalog without prior notice, regardless of whether Loafe tracks or other content are involved. Loafe bears no responsibility for any enforcement action taken against your account by a distributor or platform.

5. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app, and don't use it in violation of any applicable law.

6. No warranty

Loafe is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loafe and its developer are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top will reflect any change.
