Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 July 2026

The short version: Blit collects nothing. There's no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no tracking, and no ads. I don't know who you are, and I don't want to.

What I collect

Nothing. Blit has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs. I do not gather your name, email, location, contacts, identifiers, or usage data.

Your artwork and files

Everything you create in Blit — sprites, animations, tilesets, palettes, brushes, and your .blit files — is stored only on your device, in the locations you choose (and in iCloud Drive or your own private iCloud backup if you save there). It never leaves your device for me — I have no servers and receive no copy of it.

Blit only reads images or files that you explicitly choose — for example when you import a reference image, import an image as a layer, or open a file. These are processed on your device and are never uploaded or shared.

What I do not collect

Purchases

Blit is free to download, with optional in-app purchases handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. I never see or receive your payment details. Apple processes purchase information under Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children

Blit is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal information at all, there is nothing to gather from or about anyone, including children.

Your control

Since I hold no data about you, there's nothing for me to access, correct, or delete on your behalf. You control your files directly — edit, export, or delete them anytime, and manage any iCloud data in your device's iCloud settings.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
